Online Bill Pay Vendor Invite

Trying to send vendors invites, all suggestions say to go to:

  • + New
  • Pay Bills Online

I only see "Pay Bills", not "Pay Bills Online"

Any advice?

Online Bill Pay Vendor Invite

Thanks for updating the Community, Tiffiny Taylor Krugh.

I'm happy to hear Jen_D's response was helpful in finding out how to send Online Bill Pay invitations to vendors.

Your Apps tab displays apps you've signed up for and connected with QuickBooks. Initially, you'll want to make sure you're signed in as a Master/Company Admin. If you still don't see your app in the list, it's possible the browser's temporary internet files could have something to do with it. Browsers store these records, but they can sometimes cause display issues on certain web pages. You can open a private window and repeat the same process to see if it shows up.

Here's how to access incognito mode in some of the most commonly used browsing applications:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl Shift P
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

If you're able to access your Apps tab and see the Online Bill Pay app, it's safe to say the browser is causing this issue. You can fix it by clearing cached data and Intuit-specific cookies.

In the event your application list still isn't displaying correctly, you'll want to get in touch with our Customer Care Team. They can pull up your account in a secure environment, conduct further research, and create an investigation ticket if necessary. You can contact them while logged in.

Here's how:
1. Click the Help (?) icon.
2. Choose Contact Us.
3. Enter a description of your situation in the What can we help you with? field, then hit Let's talk.
4. You'll be presented with a few options for connecting with Intuit. Select Start messaging or Get a call.

Be sure to review their support hours so you'll know when agents are available.

Please feel more than welcome in sending a reply if there's any other questions. I'll be here to assist. Have a wonderful day!

Online Bill Pay Vendor Invite

Hey there, @Tiffiny Taylor Krugh,

I can share some more information about paying bills online in QuickBooks Online.

You will have the Pay Bills Online option if you have a Bill Pay account linked to QuickBooks. To get started, you must sign up to this service first. Follow these steps in your QBO account:

  1. Log in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to Online Bill Pay Learn More page, then select Get Started.
  3. Complete your company information, then select Next.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions to connect your bank account. (For more information: Online Bill Pay - Add a new bank account.)
  5. Select Open, then select Next.
  6. Fill in your personal information, then select Next.
  7. Finally, answer a few identity check questions. If you have issues with this process or are declined during the identity check process, contact Intuit's Care Support.

Another option is using the Bill Pay App. You can find the steps here: Overview of Bill Pay powered by Bill.com. Once you have your account for Online Bill Pay, you can now start inviting your vendors in three ways. Use steps in the Invite Vendors section of this article.

Feel free to come back here for any QuickBooks questions. I'll be right here to assist you anytime. Have a good one!

Online Bill Pay Vendor Invite

Great, was able to get to the screen where I can send invitations to vendors.

One more question, do you know why I am unable to add, or see, the Bill Pay app to the "My Apps" tab?
