In my attempt to renew what I already had customer service tried to talk me into an online version that I can’t use as a manufacturer. As we spoke I explained how I couldn’t use it the rep billed me anyway then I paid another $600 to get what I actually needed. They advised they billed me for the online too but they could not credit it back at the same minute timeframe we spoke about it. After several hours on the phone they asked me to call back at later date when the processing went through to figure out what my order number was that never came through. All they cared about was me giving a good review after the phone call of their attempts to help. After a month of several callbacks and attempts because I couldn’t access an account I never ordered with no order number to try to cancel it left me more infuriated. Another callback another few weeks and I get a partial credit what I was owed. Who in the hell here has any way to get a proper refund on something we never ordered. At this point it’s the principle of theft from this company and the refusal of the company to refund properly or correct this. With no order number (the order was not completed) I couldn’t get my money back and they said they couldn’t do it because they’ve had rogue employees cancel customers subscriptions too many times. And now because so much time has passed they refused to pay me the total owed back from something I never ordered.
Your best bet would maybe be to file a complaint with the BBB and anywhere else you can think of. Intuit has obviously admitted, through the partial payment, that they were in the wrong. They really should (but won't) make it right.
