Thanks for posting here, @Michael0908,
Allow me to share some more insights about the Payroll feature in QuickBooks Desktop.
When you set up a trial account for payroll, the system will automatically ask for your billing details. This is because, all of our services are subject for auto-renewal. We do this to ensure there are no service interruptions while working in the program on a payroll day.
If you don't want to renew the trial, you can simply call us to cancel the auto-renewal of the trial account. This way, you will no longer be billed after the test account expires.
Our customer service can help you with this. To contact us, follow the steps below:
- Open QuickBooks and click the Help menu.
- Select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
- On the pop-up screen select Contact us.

- Click the Search for Something else button then type your concern in the Ask us anything box.
- Press Search then scroll down to get your contact options.
