We can perform some troubleshooting steps to the Print or Preview tab working in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) Gus121.
QuickBooks occasionally displays unusual behavior and encounters performance issues due to stored internet caches. Let's perform some basic troubleshooting steps to identify if it's related to browser issues. First, repeat the activity using an incognito window or a private browser. The keyboard shortcuts are as follows:
- Ctrl+ Shift + N for Google Chrome
- Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox
- and Microsoft Edge
- Command + Shift + N for Safari
Then, try creating an invoice again. Here's how:
- Click Invoices from the menu and select Create invoice.
- You can choose an existing customer or create a new one by entering their name, address, and email address.
- Decide when you want to be paid and set the date in the Due Date field.
- Tap Add product & service to add items or services you sold. Enter a description of the service.
- Select Flat rate or By hour from the dropdown menu or By item if you're charging for a product. Enter an amount. Then select Add to invoice.
- To add more items to the invoice, tap Add work.
- When you're ready, press Send invoice to email your invoice. Then, click the arrow and Preview to see what your customer will receive.
If it works, return to your regular browser and clear its cache. This is done to speed up the process the next time you do a transaction in QuickBooks Online. Also, an alternative way is to use other compatible browsers.
