Purchase Order Numbers on Statements

From what I can tell, it's not possible to add a column to a statement to show the customer's PO#.  I have requested several times.  This should be an easy add for Quickbooks.  Please improve this feature, it should have already been this way!

Purchase Order Numbers on Statements

Goods day, kristi720.

I can only imagine how the option to add purchase order numbers on statements would be beneficial for you and your business. Please know that our product engineers are considering all suggestions based on the number of requests and their impacts on the user interface before they're rolled out.

For now, I suggest submitting feedback directly to our product engineers. They may look into this suggestion and consider adding the option in the future update. To submit feedback, please be guided by the steps below:

  1. Open your QuickBooks Desktop company file.
  2. Go to the Help menu, then select Send Feedback Online and choose Product Suggestion.
  3. Enter your feedback and click Submit.

You might also want to visit our feedback forum to check the recent updates made in QuickBooks.

I also want you to get in the loop about the latest news and product developments in QuickBooks. That said, I encourage you to visit our Firm of the future site. To narrow down your search, you can go to the Product & Industry News tab.

If you need other helpful articles in the future, you can always visit our site: Help articles for QuickBooks Desktop.

Feel free to drop a comment below if you have follow-up questions on anything QuickBooks. I'm always here to help. Have a good day.

I'm just going to add the reply I received that was then deleted.  It's great to see that the moderators don't actually think before making idiotic replies to posts.

Purchase Order Numbers on Statements

I can see the benefit of having the option to add your purchase order number and job site location as identifiers in the customer's statement, Leif.

Currently, this option is unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop. I can see how beneficial this functionality is for your business, so I'd recommend sending feedback to our product development team. They'll carefully review your idea and may consider it for future updates.

To submit feedback:

  1. Hover to the Help menu and click the Send Feedback Online
  2. Choose the Product Suggestion, and a pop-up window will appear.
  3. Type your feedback suggestion in the space provided.
  4. Once done, hit the Send Feedback button.

In the meantime, you can print the customer's statement and manually add the purchase order number or job site location. You can also consider exploring our QuickBooks Desktop Marketplace, which offers this functionality as an alternative solution.

You might also want to generate a report that provides detailed information on the performance of your business.
