Purchase Orders are not being auto-mailed this morning

I hear you, Lindzee. I'm here to help you get around the issue and send your purchase orders successfully in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

First, let's confirm if the information in your template is updated, then manually process or recreate those recurring transactions. I'll be walking you through the whole process. Here's how:

  1. Find and open the transaction.
  2. Put a checkmark on the Send Later box.
  3. Select Save to update the transaction.
  4. Select Save and Send.

If the same issue occurs, let's manually recreate transactions from the template.

  1. Go to Settings ⚙.
  2. Under Lists, select Recurring Transactions.
  3. Find the template you want to recreate, then select Edit in the Action column.
  4. Print or write down any details you’ll need to recreate the template.
  5. Return to the list of recurring templates, then select New.
  6. From the Transaction Type ▼ dropdown, choose the type of template you want to create.
  7. Fill out the template and select Scheduled from the Type ▼ dropdown.
  8. Select Save template.

After this, we'll have to delete the old template to avoid duplicates:

  1. Go to Settings ⚙.
  2. Under Lists, select Recurring Transactions.
  3. From the list, find the recurring transaction template you want to delete.
  4. In the Action column, select the Edit ▼ dropdown, then select Delete.

This detailed guide will expand more on this process. Feel free to give this helpful article a read anytime: Fix failed recurring transactions in QuickBooks Online.

When your vendor accepts your purchase orders, record it as a bill or expense in QuickBooks by following the steps in this article: Add purchase orders to expenses, bills, or checks in QuickBooks Online.

I'd be happy to assist you if you have more queries on recurring purchase orders. Hit me up anytime in the comment section of this thread. I'll be getting back to you soon. Take care.

Purchase Orders are not being auto-mailed this morning

I am having an issue emailing out invoices.  This appears to be an issue on QuickBooks's end, as there are other posts from this morning with others having issues emailing invoices.

Thanks for joining this thread, rgsitconsulting.

I've reviewed our ongoing/solved investigations and can confirm there's currently an ongoing investigation about sales forms not being received by customers.

Since you're encountering the same situation, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Care team and referencing our investigation's case number (INV-109305). They'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment and add you to our list of affected users. This ensures you'll receive email notifications about any updates relating to the investigation.

They can be reached while you're signed in.

Here's how:

  1. Use the Help (?) icon.

  2. Click Contact Us.

  3. Enter a description of your situation in the What can we help you with? field, then hit Let's talk.

  4. Select Start messaging or Get a call.

Be sure to review their support hours so you'll know when agents are available.

I've also included a detailed resource about system requirements for QuickBooks which may come in handy moving forward: System requirements

If there's any questions, I'm just a post away. Have an awesome Thursday!
