Buy nowI have been running QB desktop for the Mac and after upgrading Intuit's My Time app will not connect to my QuickBooks instance.
Can anyone point to what is going on?
Welcome to the Community, mtitcombe.
Thanks for taking the time to post your question. I want to make sure you're able to use your QuickBooks Desktop for Mac and the My Time app together.
To make sure both platforms are operating at their best, you'll want to make sure they have both been updated to the latest version. The following links provide the steps to update:
Additionally, you'll need to save a backup copy of your file when downloading newer versions: Back up your QuickBooks Desktop for Mac company file
If everything is already updated and My Time still won't sync with QuickBooks I recommend reaching out to the My Time Support Team to take a closer look at the connection issue.
Please feel free to reach back out here if you have any other questions or concerns.
Thanks Morgan. That did it! I didn't realize there was a new version.
Excellent, mtitcombe! That's great to hear. I'm around if you have any other questions.
Morgan,
You may not have wanted to say that...
Okay, Running My Time ver 1.3.0.472 & QB Mac Plus 2022 v21.0.6 R7.
My time now can connect and pull the job info.
But, when I send the time log entries to QB, they disappear and never end up in the timesheet.
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Matt
Thanks for checking this with us, mtitcombe.
I'm here to ensure this gets to the right department that can best handle this situation.
The steps shared by MorganB should help send the time log entries to QuickBooks. Since those entries they disappear and never end up in your timesheet, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Mac Support if you need further guidance with the process. Our representatives can request for a viewing session to guide you and make sure your data is secured.

I'll leave you with a guide to know anything about QuickBooks Desktop for Mac: QuickBooks Desktop Mac 2022 User’s Guide.
Please let me know if you have other questions in mind about managing log entries. Take care and have a good day ahead!
My Time 1.3.0.472 never really worked. I'm on QB for Mac 2021 V20.0.9 R10 (Build 982), and My Time 1.3.0.472 simply doesn't work. My Time 1.2.0.444 still works, but I basically can't upgrade, because My TIme 1.3.0.472 doesn't work, even though the ticket has been open since April. The bug reference is INV-70358, but Intuit hasn't fixed it in like 6 months. If you want to see the link to the thread that we've had open since April, you can visit this thread:
We hear your sentiments about the unavailability of the My Time app in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac 2022, @jluros. I can share with you an update and workaround for the issue.
As shown in our system, the investigation mentioned above is still ongoing. No worries, I'll provide you a direct link to the app so you can download it using QuickBooks: https://desktop.apps.com/home.
As an alternative, you can manually enter time within the QuickBooks program. Simply click on Employees, followed by Time Tracking.
I'll include a manual you can read about handling QBDT MAC 2022: QuickBooks Desktop Mac 2022 User’s Guide.
You can always get back to us by replying to this thread. We're here to answer questions about this topic or QuickBooks as software. Take care.
