QB looks different in my two companies. Both are QB online on Simple Start

Hi, beartechnc.

The Online version of QuickBooks has four different plans and features. We have the Simple Start, Essentials, the Plus, and Advanced.

QuickBooks have amazing features which you can try and use. They're totally different programs, display page and are designed for different types of businesses.

QB looks different in my two companies. Both are QB online on Simple Start

Hi there, beartechnc!

The QuickBooks Online interface can be set to be in the Business or Accountant view. The Business view is intended to simplify the tasks or ways to navigating through QuickBooks. The Accountant view is more of a higher level, but they don't really have a huge difference.

You can switch the other one to Business or Accountant view whatever floats your boat.

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Choose Switch to Accountant view or Switch to Business view, depending on which QBO company you're working on.

You can check out this article for more details: Switch between Business and Accountant view in QuickBooks Online.

I'm just around if you need a helping hand. Take care and have a good one!
