Yes, you can export your QuickBooks Online (QBO) data into your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) and retain both files as long as you do not cancel your subscription in your QBO account.
I can assist you with importing data from QBO to QBDT, assuming you have already downloaded and installed QBDT on your computer. Let's proceed with moving your files to Excel.

However, if you want your invoices in your QBO account while generating reports in QBDT. You have to keep manually importing your transactions to track them since they settled in different QB accounts. I recommend you sign up for QBDT Payments for easier and faster transactions for you and your business.
