QB Saying Company File is 35% corrupted

Just upgraded from AQ Desktop Pro 2019 to QB Desktop Pro 2022.  Pre-upgrade verification had no errors, Company File converts and all looks fine.  QUESTION:  Intuit Support telling me my company file is 35% corrupted and when it reaches 45% it will no longer open.  Wants $800 to have support team fix it.  Does this make any sense?  Feels like a scam.  Advise appreciated!

Intuit Support told you that? I am not sure they are a legit support. Did you dial a certain number?

Which error message did you encounter?

How big is your file size?

Believe it was 866-458-2024.  Beware when you google Quickbooks support as it is easy to hit a page that is Quickbooks branded and looks real.   Looking more carefully this one is actually a Google Advertiser for a company called Aespatec
