QBO Advanced Search is not working

 

Hi there,

 

Please see attached screenshot.

 

QBO Advanced Search is not working, didn't load anything. What's problem? Can anyone help this?

 

Had a terrible experience with QBO!

QBO Advanced Search is not working

Let's figure out the cause of the advanced search feature issue and fix it to keep you going with your task, Ivan.

 

One possible reason is that you have accumulated too much historical data from your browser. It causes discrepancies that affect the view and performance of your QuickBooks. It might be why it's not working on your end. 

 

To verify, you can open your QuickBooks Online account on an incognito window to help us determine if this is a browser-related issue. Feel free to use either of these keyboard shortcuts: 

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Shift + Ctrl + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

 

Then, try to search for transactions again, but you can add filters this time. If it works, you can return to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh. You can also use another supported, up-to-date browser to narrow down the results.

I have the same problem while trying to search for transactions. It doesn't work these days. Another functions still running well

Have you tried performing the troubleshooting steps I've provided above? If you're done, but the advanced search feature still isn't working, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Support Team. They can investigate this issue further to find a possible root cause and find a resolution. They can also create a case ticket for this if needed.

 

Here's how you can reach out to them:

 

  1. Go to Help (?).
  2. From the Search tab, click Contact Us.
  3. Please enter your question and select Continue.
  4. Review and Select from the following: Ask the communityHave us call you, or Chat with us.

I have the same issue. I have already followed the instructions to clear cache and cookies. I have tried with different browsers. Still not working.

I appreciate you following the troubleshooting steps provided by my colleague. However, it seems that the advanced search feature is still not functioning as expected. I suggest reaching out to our QuickBooks Online Support Team for further assistance. They have the expertise to investigate this issue in more detail, identify any underlying causes, and work towards finding a resolution.

 

Here's how:

  1. Click Help (?).
  2. Then Click Contact Us at the bottom part.
  3. Fill in your concern inside the box. Then hit continue.
  4. Select from the following: Have us call you, or Chat with us.

QBO Advanced Search is not working

I had a call from a Quickbook expertise but he doesn't even get my words. He doesn't understand what is "search" box in QBO. Could you QBO team pls solve this issue asap?

Recently, there's an investigation related to the advanced search feature not functioning that was already closed. You can use the feature through a private window to avoid discrepancies related to your browser's cache. Please refer to these keyboard shortcuts for applicable browsers:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Shift + Ctrl + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

 

Once it works, you can proceed to your regular browser and start clearing its cache to avoid any unexpected behavior.

QBO Advanced Search is not working

 

Today, the Advanced Search Function can be used as usual. I don't know why.

 

Before posting this issue, I tried clearing the cache and history, changing browsers, opening in an incognito window, and even restarting the computer, but nothing worked.

QBO Advanced Search is not working

Why Why Why would you change this?  It's bad enough I have to keep clicking "switch to classic view", now I can't easily find my transactions that I JUST worked on.  The search bar stinks.  The magnifying glass that was tucked between the "my experts" and "help" is gone.  No one at QB's knows what I'm talking about.

 

Why keep raising your prices and changing to a less adequate product!!!!!!

Beforehand, I'd like to ask for some details to help me get on the same page. Is this the magnifying glass you mean that is tucked between the My Experts and Help menu?

  1. Click the Gear icon and choose Feedback.
