When you use the surface on your Microfost Surface Pro 8, it's advisable to use the Microsoft Edge browser. It's the possible reason why the surface touchscreen keyboard doesn't display is that you are not using the Microsoft Edge browser.
To verify, you can log in to your QuickBooks Online account using a Microsoft Edge browser.
