Buy nowMy QBO downloads won't open. All others will, just the QB won't
Hello, ML44.
Are you referring to the downloaded transactions from your bank account? I need more information about the QBO download you mentioned to provide the best course of action to resolve this.
The QBO file is an electronic bank statement obtained from a financial institution's website. Many users have difficulty opening the .qbo file on their computer since they need the right software or to figure out in what format they are trying to open the file.
You can open the QBO file by double-clicking it, and the default associated application will assist you in opening the file. If you're having trouble opening the file using this method, it could be because you don't have the correct application to view or edit the QBO file.
You could look for a third-party application that will allow you to open or convert the file to CSV format. To do this, go to the Apps menu within QuickBooks Online or use this link to find one: QuickBooks Apps.
In addition, I've added this article if you want to bring those bank transactions to QuickBooks Online: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with the QBO downloads. I'll be right here to assist you whenever you need additional information.
Is your question related to your bank statement in *.qbo file format?
I have a QBO file from my bank. When you use Quickbooks to open I get an error message: OL-222. As far as I can tell everything else in AQB works fine.
Hi there, GBaker1.
Thanks for joining this conversation. Allow me to jump in and help ensure this is taken care of for you.
To ensure that I'm on the same page, may I know what specific QuickBooks version you're using? Any additional information will help me provide the best resolution for your concern.
I'll add this article that tackles fixing error OL-222: Fix error OL-222.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Thank you. My Quick Books version is: V18.0.14.R15
You are using QB Desktop 2018, correct? Your version is outdated and they don't allow you to import *.qbo files anymore. You need to use a 3rd party tool to import bank statement in *.csv files as a workaround.
Thanks for letting me know that. Can I upgrade to a newer or different version? I only need the really basic Quick Books.
