Hello All,
I have a printer RICOH MP C4504ex. It allows me to scan or email to a destination. I programmed it to send it to qbodocs.com, but it will not send it due to not having the user information/authorization. Does anyone know how to do this?
Thank you,
Rae
Hi there, @sheppan.
I can see how convenient it is to scan and email your QBO receipts directly from your printer to a destination.
From what I've learned, you'll need to configure a Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) authentication on your printer to set up your name as an authorized user.
Since this type of concern is beyond my scope of support, I'd recommend contacting RICOH customer service for further assistance. They can guide you with this procedure.
I've got you some pointers that you can bookmark for your future references:
Feel free to post again if you have more questions about sending the QBO receipts feature. I'm always around to be your guide.
I have the same problem e-mailing from our Minolta BizHub machine. It can email scanned files, which we have done with Bill.com for a few years... but I have no way to fool the BizHub to send as me (authorized user) to our qbodocs receipt "inbox". Since bill.com can do it without advanced programming skills, QuickBooks should as well. Bill.com has started to issue credit cards and do receipt processing... which I will check out.
