Quickbook is frozen

@Pattie   I mean, ctrl+alt+del will open your task manager.

Won't make QBO any better of a product, but it will definitely close QBO.

@FishingForAnswers is right. Using Task Manager via "Ctrl + Alt + Del" allows users to monitor system performance and regain control over unresponsive applications, Pattie. This helps prevent data loss, enhances security against unauthorized access, and facilitates better system management.

However, we can also perform troubleshooting to see if the issue is related to your regular browser. Standard browsers may behave unpredictably with QuickBooks due to accumulated cached data. A private browsing window can bypass this cache, providing a clean connection to QuickBooks and potentially resolving your issues.

These are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N

If you can now access your QuickBooks without an error, let's return to your regular browser and clear its cache to restore appropriate functionality. If the problem continues, consider switching to a different supported browser.

Furthermore, allow me to add this resource for you to find out what computer and browser you need for the best experience when using QuickBooks Online: System requirements for QuickBooks Online products.
