QuickBooks 2022 Shipping Manager Issues

Quickbooks 2022 Shipping Manager Issues:

Coming off of QB19 none of these issues existed

Set up Shipping manager to share database in multi user mode:

When one user changes a "setting" no one can access the shipping manager anymore. QB says to shut down and restart QuickBooks to access shipping manager on all workstations, then everyone has to shut down and restart. At one point it stopped working on all workstations permanently, no one could access the shipping manger, had to start setup from the beginning.

When shipping a package, clicking on "Available Services" a window is supposed to pop up and show all the services available but doesn't, it stays hidden and wont expand.

QuickBooks 2022 Shipping Manager Issues

Thanks for dropping by the Community today, labelsig.

I can see how important it is for your business to use the Shipping Manager in a multi-user mode. This allows more than one employee to work on a company file at the same time increasing collaboration and productivity. Let me help and provide some clarifications about the issue you’re currently experiencing.

The multi-user setup for Shipping Manager is not currently supported. That’s you're prompted to shut down and restart QuickBooks to access the mentioned feature on all workstations. Click here for additional information.

Additionally, the resources below contain solutions on how to troubleshoot Shipping Manager issues. From there, you’ll also see the lists of processes you can do when in single or multi-user modes and answers to common questions about the feature.

QuickBooks 2022 Shipping Manager Issues

That's disheartening to hear QB22 does not support shipping manager in multiuser mode. We've been running shipping manager this way for many years across many QB versions with no problems at all. Is this something only related to the new QB22 version and is there any efforts being made to make the shipping manager operate better in multi user mode? For anyone using QB Enterprise in multi user mode for lets say "Manufacturing, retail, wholesale" it only makes sense that the shipping manager must be used in multi user mode so all users are able to access shipping information that for example someone at a different workstation shipped. It also makes it easier to be able to add a profile, or change a setting that will be reflected to everyone in the company using the shipping function.
