Quickbooks 2024 Desktop Pro Plus Backup

Hello,

Quickbooks has always had an options button you could choose before starting a backup. It let you choose the folder to back up to and also to choose whether or not you want to verify your data. Since upgrading to 2024 the options button has disappeared.

Quickbooks 2024 Desktop Pro Plus Backup

Thanks Jorgette.

I see what happened. The image you show has an actual button, which is what mine used to look like. Now it just has Change your current backup settings on the bottom in a very, very small font and there is no button. It is just the words (like a link) so I didn't notice them before. I hope they put the button back. It will be confusing for many otherwise.

I understand the need for the "Change your current backup settings" button when performing a backup of your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Pro Plus company file, Aconry.

As this feature is unavailable, I recommend submitting feedback to our Product Development team. Rest assured, they will diligently assess this option and consider its inclusion in forthcoming updates. You can follow the steps below to send a feature recommendation:

  1. Go to Help, then choose the Send Feedback Online option.
  2. Select the Product Suggestion option, then a pop-up window displays.
  3. Type in your feedback request.
  4. Once done, click the Send Feedback button.

Additionally, after backing up your company file, learn how to restore them in your QBDT by following the guidelines below: Restore a backup of your company file.
