Quickbooks Credit or Refunds for Software Malfunctions

I Have been using QBAO for about 3 years. In those three years, Quickbooks has malfunctioned often. This causes massive disruptions at times and client dissatisfaction resulting in one case me losing a client and others me spending multiple hours on hold multiple days for the same issues. These issues end in me being told that they put in a ticket with no idea as to when this will be resolved. (Awesome answer that I have to reiterate to clients)

 

Twice I was given a credit on my account for that client's monthly subscription price. This seems less than reasonable but at least it gave me something to tell the client when in effect it means that they cant use the software as intended until the issue is resolved. Recently I have been told this is no longer available for technical issues. Seriously!

 

My question is... Is there a secret code to get the credit back? At what point can I get the credit? How can I continue to offer Quickbooks if they make the software unusable for months at a time and still continue charging my clients?

I know this hasn't been an easy process for you, Nerds 4 Numbers.

 

I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team again to have this further checked and investigated. They are equipped with tools that can securely look into your account and provide a refund. Billing concerns require personal information that should be done in a secure environment.

 

You can follow these steps to contact our support team:

 

For the old Help menu interface:

 

  1. Click the Help (?) icon at the top.
  2. Choose the Contact Us button.
  3. Type your issue or question on the What can we help you with box.
  4. Proceed with the Let's talk button.
  5. Select the Start messaging option.

For the new Help menu:

 

  1. Click the Help (?) icon at the top.
  2. Type Talk to a human.
  3. Enter your issue or question on the What can we help you with box.
  4. Choose I still need a human.
  5. Select the Start messaging option.

 

Additionally, I've added our QuickBooks Accountant Year-end checklist for reference. This helps your clients to complete year-end tasks and end the year smoothly.

As I said above I have spent many hours on the phone with Quickbooks help. In fact today alone it was 2hrs before they submitted a ticket. The answer giving was they no longer offer refunds for "Technical issues"

If you are not satisfied with QBO, consider using QBD instead. Deploy a private cloud if required to access data by internet connection.
