We appreciate you for choosing QuickBooks as your partner in this new project, Burhan. I'm here to direct you to the Intuit Developers forum, where you'll find experts who can assist you further.

Please note that QuickBooks Desktop doesn't include a built-in Entity-Relationship (ER) diagram. If you require further assistance regarding this matter, I recommend posting your question on the Intuit Developer page. They can provide valuable resources and insights to help you better understand QuickBooks' data architecture.

To post one, here's how:

  1. Visit the Intuit Developer Support website.
  2. Select your QuickBooks product.
  3. Click on Ask a Question.
  4. Log in to your Intuit account, if prompted to do so.
  5. Write a summary of your concern and click Ask.

Also, I suggest checking out this helpful blog:  Eliminate customer disappointment with entity relationship diagramsThis contains important insights regarding the importance of ER diagram in operational and order management process.

If you're looking to generate personalized reports using QuickBooks, feel free to check out this article: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop.

If you have more questions about ER diagrams of QBDT, feel free to reach out to this forum. We'll be around to assist you.

RE: Currently, QBDT does not offer a built-in feature for generating ER diagrams.

That's nice. It's also not what the OP asked for.

RE: You'll need to manually create one based on the data model you're working with.

The OP is asking for one for the QuickBooks data model, which they don't understand. Asking the customer to create the model for a system they don't understand is nonsensical, and also not helpful.
