QuickBooks Desktop Online App (Version 3.6.2) Not Opening

Since mid/late June I have not been able to get into the QuickBooks Online Desktop App.  I believe there was an update that rolled out around that time and haven't been able to get in since then.  When I open the app on my desktop (PC, version 3.6.2) I get a screen that looks like it's loading.  A green bar loads, then nothing happens.  No additional boxes open, I'm never prompted to login, nothing.

I've read through multiple forums for trouble shooting tips, uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, my IT person and tried every trouble shooting idea he can find online and today I reached out to Intuit via a Chat through my QB online in the browser and was told too bad, we don't support the app, we have no advice for you.

QuickBooks Desktop Online App (Version 3.6.2) Not Opening

@Lindsay_LL I understand how frustrating it is when a critical tool like the QuickBooks Online desktop app isn't working as it should, especially after all the troubleshooting you've already done with your IT person. The app is absolutely supported, and I want to help you get this resolved.

I've shared your issue with our Next Level Help team, who will take a close look at your Community comments and your support history to get the full picture of what has been happening. You can expect to hear from one of our experts soon with the next steps to get you back up and running.

QuickBooks Desktop Online App (Version 3.6.2) Not Opening

Thank you.  The lack of access has been frustrating, but the response today was the most frustrating point.  I do hope someone reviews my chat history and can see that even after my pushing back that it's an app downloadable in the QB system and Quickbooks.intuit.com directs me to reach out to QB support if I have issues with the software, I was still repeatedly told it's a 3rd party program and that QB is not responsible for.  Hope I can get some resolution to this issue.
