Hi, we are thinking of moving to QuickBooks Online and when transferring the backup file to QuickBooks Online from Desktop, can you only transfer for example the past two years of data to Online or can you only transfer everything since we started using Desktop. Thanks

Which QB Desktop year version do you have?
Are you able to backup only the like the past 2 years of data in QuickBooks, we have been using it for like 10 years and we only need the past few years
We have Premier Accountant Edition 2023
You can run Condense Data utility to removed old data. You will convert the condensed file to QB Online. You should keep your old company file and you can use the trial version to access your historical data for good if required.
Does this fix the Error: beanstalk.zlib generation failed error?

HI, no this is what I get when I try to migrate from QBDT to QBO. Talked to a fella at Intuit, he said they were fixing the problem. When I went online I see this has been happening since at least Sept. Just wondering if condensing the data would help.
