Why Migration is available on my Pc but is not available on other pc. Both are usin the same Operative Sistem W10. Help me please

If you are trying to use the QuickBooks Migrator Tool to move QuickBooks files from one computer to another, note that 64-bit QuickBooks files can only be migrated from one 64-bit system to another. If you try to use a USB containing files from 64-bit QuickBooks Desktop 2022 or 2023 on a 32-bit Windows system, the migrator tool may stop unexpectedly. You need to prepare a computer connected to the internet and a USB flash drive with enough free space to hold your QuickBooks files.

 

Furthermore, here are some things you can do to ensure a successful migration:

 

See to it the computer you are migrating to meets the minimum requirements for QuickBooks migration. Check the compatibility of the QuickBooks version with the operating system, and verify that your computer has enough free disk space for the migration process. 

 

Next, ensure you are using the latest version of QuickBooks for a seamless migration. 

 

  1. Open QuickBooks and go to the Help menu.
  2. Select Update QuickBooks and then Update Now.

Are you attempting to transfer a company file from one PC to another? Then, the most effective solution is to duplicate the company file on an external device like a USB flash drive and manually restore it on the second computer.

 

Here's how to create a backup from computer one:

 

  1.  Insert the USB flash drive and Open QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Create a backup file and choose the backup location.
  3. Select the USB flash drive. Then, name and save the backup file.

 

After saving the backup file to the flash drive, verify the integrity and completeness of the backed-up data using QuickBooks Desktop. you'll need to move it to your local hard drive first. Then follow the steps below:

 

  1. Insert the flash drive on the second computer.
  2. In QuickBooks, go to the File menu and select Open or Restore Company.
  3. Select Restore a backup copy and then Next.
  4. Select Local Backup and then Next.
  5. Browse your computer for your backup company file. It should look like this: [Your company name].qbb.
  6. Select a folder to decide where to save your restored company file. Then select Open.

I'm having same problem as others  - "DOWNLOADING QUICKBOOKS INSTALLER FAILED" 

I'm trying to move QB Desktop Premier 2018.  Why doesn't the tool work ??

This error occurs when running an outdated QuickBooks Desktop version (QuickBooks Desktop Premier 2018 in your case) that is incompatible with the latest Windows release.

 

If you want to upgrade, I recommend choosing a version compatible with your computer system specifications.
