Buy now & saveEven If I copy an older Estimate that had tax, the tax will calculate in athat case but wont show between the subtotal and total fields, and I also cant adjust it to make it tax exempt either. The tax field or option is simply not there for Estimates. For invoice is does show normally, just not in Estimates.

I completed both processes and there was no change in the app. The tax field still does not appear. Please note I run the app on both my iPad and iPhone and have the same problem for both iOS devices. However, the tax field does appear normally on our Windows 10 desktop, but I am not able to utilize that during my workday out in the field.
Your efforts in resolving the issue with the tax field on estimates have certainly been recognized, @Upholder. As someone who also appreciates the streamlined sales management that the QBO mobile app offers, I believe immediate action from the appropriate team would significantly resolve the problem.
Since the tax field normally appears in QBO when accessed through a web browser on your Windows 10 computer, I suggest forwarding this problem to the Live Support team. The team has the appropriate tools and resources to identify the causes and provide immediate solutions.
Here's how you can connect with the Live Support team through the QBO mobile app (iOS):
To learn about their hours of availability or if you'd like to connect with them through a web browser, kindly refer to the attached article. The support hours mentioned here also apply to the QuickBooks mobile application: Get help with QuickBooks products and services.
Once a customer approves your estimate, you have the streamlined ability to directly transform that estimate into an invoice. This process not only simplifies the workflow but also saves valuable time.
We have to take immediate action for this as soon as possible so you can continue seamless productivity. Keep your posts coming for other queries you may have. I'll be right here to lend a hand.
