Quickbooks online payroll Resource does not exist error when confirming draft

Hello, Kevig.

Thanks for stopping by the Community this evening. Could you elaborate on what the error you're receiving is, perhaps a error number? That way I can best help you moving forward. In the meantime, I'm going to provide you with the proper steps to run payroll.

  1. Go to Workers or Payroll menu, then select Run payroll.
  2. Select a pay schedule, then Continue.
  3. Select the employees you want to pay.
  4. Verify if you have selected the correct bank account, pay period, and pay date. You can also modify them as needed.
  5. Change employee's pay method as needed.
  6. Enter hours worked if applicable. TIP: you can hide or show pay types by selecting the Settings ⚙ icon below the TOTAL PAY.
  7. Select Preview Payroll.
  8. To edit or preview a specific check, select the Edit ✏️ icon next to the check's net pay, then select OK when done.
  9. When you're ready, select Submit payroll.
  10. You're all set! To print paychecks, select Print paychecks, then Finish payroll.

I look forward to hearing from you, thank you and have a nice weekend.

Quickbooks online payroll Resource does not exist error when confirming draft

Hiya there were no error codes just the phrase "Resources does not exist" in red letters and a red box with a red !.

Anyhow have just confirmed the draft pay run again and it processed this time so no idea what the error was all about.

Hey again, Kevig.

Thanks again for the addition information, I'm glad to see you were able to confirm the draft run and it processed, sometimes technology just doesn't want to cooperate but this time, it sounds like it worked out in the end! If you need anything else from us or have any other questions, feel free to post here anytime.

Thanks and hope you have an excellent Friday night.
