QuickBooks Point of Sale bug - Items being sent to QB incorrectly?

 

I've created a number of "Service" items in QB POS, for example:Annotation 2020-05-01 133648.png

 

 




I subsequently did a financial exchange with QB, and this item gets created, however, it is created as a "NON-INVENTORY" item, rather than as a SERVICE item.

Unless I am doing something incorrectly, this seems like a bug and presents a problem for us. What's the solution?

Thank you for providing a few screenshots of what's happening to your service item. Upon doing some research on this issue, I'm glad to inform you that it can be fixed by having our Merchant Services team debug your file. You can request a callback from them by following these steps:

 

  1. Go to the Help menu and choose Contact Us.
  2. Type Merchant Services in the text box, then click Let's Talk.
  3. Select Request a callback and enter your contact info.

 

You'll receive a call from one of our agents shortly. You can also chat with our Point of Sales team through chat if the problem keeps occurring.

There is no "Contact Us" option in the Help menu in POS. Annotation 2020-05-01 213256.png

There is a "Help and Support" option, but that takes me to a web page titled "Contact Payments Support". Annotation 2020-05-01 213433.png
