Also got the error message yesterday that QBT didn't recognize my login. The frequency of user issues on the employees' end is also too high to make using QBT worth the trouble. Here are some other time apps that sync with QB - anyone have experience with them? Minute 7, BigTime, HourTimesheet, ClockShark Time, EBillity, Clockwise... ?
Hit there, @K_garcia and @GMF.
Thanks for following the thread and sharing your concerns.
It sounds like you both fall under our investigation INV-00254. That said, our engineers have closed this investigation as resolved. If you're still experiencing this issue, then please know that your file may not be compatible.
However, let's try some additional steps provided by our engineers to see if we can get you back up and running.
First, let's make sure that Intuit and QuickBooks Time are included in the trusted sites on your browser. Here's how (please complete these steps in Internet Explorer):
Open Internet Explorer.
From the Comand bar, click on Tools.
Select Internet Options, then tap the Security tab.
Find Trusted Sites. Then, click on Sites.
In the "Add this website to the zone" field, add both *.intuit.com and *.tsheets.com.
Uncheck "Require server verification".
Close the Trusted Sites window, and uncheck "Enable Protected Mode".
Close the browser.
Once you've added the trusted sites, let's sign into your Intuit account within QuickBooks.
Now, let's go ahead and Update QuickBooksto the latest release.
After QuickBooks has been updated, run the sync again.
If you're still having issues, you'll need to Connect via Web Connector.
Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I'm always around to lend a hand. Take care!
We use ClockShark and haven't been able to sync since we upgraded to QB 22 4 weeks ago. Still waiting on QB to fix the issue.
Same. I haven't been able to synch since Nov. 2rd. Nothing is working.
Thanks for joining this thread, traffic.
I’m here to help make sure your concern is taken care of. I’ll have to ask for some details on what you’re experiencing. This is to ensure I can provide a timely solution.
May I know if you’re using QuickBooks Time or ClockShark? Did you encounter any error codes or messages?
I’m looking forward to your response. Thank you in advance. Have a good one.
We use ClockShark and our IT company has been on the phone a couple with times with QB support trying to resolve the issue.
My Company uses QB Enterprise and Tsheets (now QBTime). Along with everyone else, I too am having issues syncing our payroll and PTO data to QB Time. I was offered a workaround using the "update web services" method, but this doesn't work. PTO, pay-rate data does not end up in Quickbooks Time.
My Company has been forced to manually input everything when running payroll for months. No information has been provided to us about a fix or timeline. In fact, when calling into Customer Support, I'm met with deflection... "there will always be problems, but keep calling in" and "Just like Apple iPhone has bugs, this is no different" -- well actually it is different. Apple would have fixed an issue this large by now and if not, the messaging to Customers would have been useful and timely.
At this point, what value does Quickbooks Time offer? All of the value is gone IMO.
Sorry if I seem frustrated. I am. I work in Tech, so I get that issues like this happen, BUT the Customer expectation setting from Intuit related to this issue is non-existent and I believe we deserve better.

Hello Jessica,
Thank you for your response. To answer your questions:
Appreciate the info, @joshmontana79.
I'd like to add some steps to get your time synced. Once you've switched to single-user mode, please continue with these steps.
Let your employee do a force sync to bring the information over to QuickBooks. Here's how.
Additionally, here's a link that'll help you manage employee time. It has topics with articles that'll guide you along. Feel free to browse: View all help for QuickBooks Time.
Let me know how it goes as I wanted to ensure this is resolved for you. Take care and have a good one.
Thank you, we will try that.
Using the "update web services" workaround method, what data FROM QB should be sent TO Tsheets?
Pay rate?
PTO balance?
Title?
Name?
This will help us understand if the workaround method is actually working.
Thank you,
Josh
Hi there, @joshmontana79.
Thanks for following up with us.
The data that comes from QuickBooks will be the following:
PTO will only transfer one way from QuickBooks Time to QuickBooks, not from QuickBooks to QuickBooks Time.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please let me know. I'm only a reply away. Take care!
I have a new accountant that needs to sync TSheetswith Desktop, but it says she needs to have admin access. Can I upgrade her or do I need to allow her to use my admin credentials?
Thank you for joining this thread, wdsnyder.

We are having problems with syncing also. Our employees can see their hours on their phones but nothing comes over when we sync on some of them. The numbers of this happening is increasing weekly. Our techs have reached out to you on this problem with no solution you have offered work. This is extremely frustrating as I shouldn't have to have them send me screenshots and enter their time manually.
I can see the impact of this sync issue on your QuickBooks experience, @KMeach. I want to ensure this gets resolved so you can accurately manage your employees' hours.
Have you tried the troubleshooting instructions provided in this thread, especially by my colleague SirielJeaB? If not yet, I recommend performing them first to sort it out.

If you are having trouble syncing the Quickbooks Time data to Quickbooks Desktop it might be related to installs on Windows 10 and 11.
In Quickbooks Time, you need to clear company file and path. This will likely resolve the issue but it must be done every time you plan to sync Quickbooks Time data to Quickbooks Desktop, do this just before updating the app data in QBP desktop.
1) Once logged into Quickbooks time, click on the Quickbooks icon toward the right hand side of the toolbar, the drop down will have a Clear Company File Path option - click it .
2) Now go to Quickbooks, Run the Quickbooks Web Connector, Update the Quickbooks Time data. It should now progress and transfer the data normally. It can only sync one time or until you reset the file path again. This is a workaround but it needs to be fixed.
Its been over two years since the bug showed up on Windows 10 and 11 machines. Frustrating that Intuit has allow this issue to persist for so long!
