I know QuickBooks 2019 is no longer supported. Does this mean I will not be able to run the 2022 1099s through QB?
I have another way how you can run your 1099s, SarahD.
You can use your standalone 1099 e-file service to file 1099s with the IRS. You'll have to add your contractor and payment information to create and e-file 1099s. Once done, you can email, print, and mail them to your contractors. I've outlined the steps below:
For more details on how you can file without QuickBooks or payroll, check out this article for your reference: Create And File 1099s without payroll. Additionally, QuickBooks offers payroll and employee reports that can help you manage your payroll and keep track of employee expenses. Learn how to customize these reports to get the information you need. I've added this article for your guide: Customize Payroll And Employee Reports.
Feel free to let me know if you have any questions about your 1099. Please know, we're always right here to help you and make sure everything is covered.
Yes, I'm aware I can use 3rd party software. I was trying to avoid having to enter all the vendors and $$ amounts. I've never filed electronically but have always printed directly from QB. Thanks though.
Did Intuit discontinue it's standalone 1099 E-file services. ? When I search for it this year, it keeps linking me to the QB Contractor Program to buy.
