We have had Intuit QuickBooks Enterprises Solutions for many years. We recently updated to 24.0 version. We did not have any issues until it wanted us to update. After updating, when logging in, it will automatically abort. I have contacted QuickBooks several times. I have had an IT guy try figuring out the issue. He has also contacted QuickBooks. No one can help with this issue. We deleted and reinstalled without doing the update and now we have issues daily. I cannot access some of my reports and now I cannot access merchant services. When I click to sign on it does nothing. The majority of our customer pay with credit card and we cannot run any credit cards.
We have already done that a couple of times. Your guys walked us & my IT guy through it. I have been on the phone with several different people there and still can not figure out how to fix the issue.
Don't bother calling this guy Justin. This guy is just pretending to be QB Support and Paul Ham is his collaborator. They want you to call them directly and you will be tempted for something. If you need a legit assistance, you should find a community member with Level 10 or higher.
We have done that. We have multiple company files & it will let me in my other company file with no issue but when I try to log in on my main company it will automatically abort and will not let me in at all. We had to delete QuickBooks program & reinstall without letting it update. Then I started having issues with the credit card access and randomly not letting me access some of the reports.
My IT guy says that the company file that I can access updated to R4_27 but the one I can not access did not. He can not find a download for that update?
Also no one else in my office has this issue but me.
Hi there, Wilkens.
I understand how challenging it is to encounter several issues after updating your QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise Solution version 24. Rest assured, I'm here to help you resolve this so you can continue doing your business within QuickBooks.
I'm grateful for your efforts and those of your IT professionals in diagnosing and resolving the issue. You've mentioned that you've attempted to uninstall and reinstall QBDT without updating it. I'd recommend following this same procedure but on a different local drive. For example, if the previous installation was on Drive C, move the installer to another drive, perhaps Drive D. This precautionary step ensures no residual or temporary files from QuickBooks could interfere with the new installation. However, please check that the chosen partition has sufficient storage space for a proper QuickBooks installation.
If the problem persists, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise support again to investigate this case further. They have the right tools to pinpoint the root cause of the problem and apply a solution.
