With using the Advance Pricing feature of Desktop Enterprise, I am trying to find a way to view all inventory items and for it to show the quantity discounts. Some of my items but not all have quantity discounts and none of them use the same %. Any item with a price break if you buy "X" are a certain $ amount off but not all items use the same discount. When I view "Inventory List" I customize columns and export and I can not pull the column that would show the quantity discount. All I can see is "cost", "avg cost" and "price". I am changing prices and if I change the "price" it will change my qty discount price so I want to be able to view it as I change.

Thank you very much. I have submitted a request per your recommendation. I appreciate the help.
wish we had that
It appears that QB enterprise 2021 still cannot list items with quantity discounts. This is an enormous problem for my company. We have 50K + items, many of which have quantity discounts. Recently many of our vendors are raising prices, which we import in bulk. It seems the only way to find and change quantity prices is open item records one by one to see if there are any quantity price breaks set up. There should be a way to import bulk updates of quantity prices. It is just nuts that, unless I've missed it, that quantity prices can't even be reported in a list. Certainly the data is stored somewhere in the QB database. PLEASE make it possible to see it without spending days opening tens of thousands of item records.
Thanks for chiming in on this thread, CarbidePaul.
I can see how having this feature could be very beneficial to you and your business. I'd recommend sending feedback to our Product Development Team. They will be able to look through the information and are the ones who consider adding the feature for future updates.

@RenjolynC I have sent in feedback on this option multiple times. I have done digging around this subject many times since 2019 and have yet to get much feedback or improvement. I would think something that seems basic to me would have already been implemented. If QuickBooks is going to offer discount pricing then why not have it functional? Thanks for your input
Has there been any progress on this topic? I'm trying to export my item list with the quantity discounts /advanced pricing data. Is there really no way to do that still?
Hello there, CWalters.
Thanks for reaching out about exporting your item list with quantity discounts and advanced pricing data from QuickBooks Desktop. I understand how important it is to have access to this information for your business.
You're correct that QuickBooks Desktop doesn't currently have a built-in function to export item lists with those specific details.
While there isn't a direct export option, let's see if we can find a workaround that meets your needs.
Could you tell me a bit more about what you're hoping to achieve with this data? For example:
Once I have a better understanding of your goal, I can suggest some potential solutions or workarounds.
In the meantime, you might consider exploring some of the reporting options within QuickBooks Desktop. The Inventory Item QuickReport or the Price List report might provide some of the data you need, and you can then export those reports to Excel for further manipulation.
I'm here to help you find the best solution possible, so please don't hesitate to provide more details about what you're looking for.
Thank you for your reply.
I'm trying to export the item list with pricing so that I can potentially update the pricing on our shopping cart without keying it out. I am able to get the "item price"/base price, but nothing of the quantity discounts. This is such a huge issue for so many people I can't believe it hasn't been created in all these years.
We might be transferring the Sales/Inventory process to a new system and for that reason it is also a need. Keeping just QuickBooks accounting/payroll/etc and not the Enterprise side.
Any tricks or ways to assist would be appreciated
Thank you for providing the additional details, CWalters. I’d like to present a few alternatives to assist you in exporting the item list along with the quantity discounts/advanced pricing data. Let me elaborate on the available options.
There are two potential alternatives to consider. First, you can explore a third-party application to export your item list, including quantity discounts. To find suitable applications tailored to your business needs, visit the QuickBooks Marketplace and use the search tab to browse available apps.
Second, you can follow the recommendations provided by my colleague RheaMaeH above. Consider generating the Inventory Item QuickReport or the Price List report. These reports will give you the financial information you need, which you can then export to an Excel file for further analysis and customization.
Finally, I’ve added a list of resources you can explore to enhance your understanding of effective pricing rate management and move your data into and outside of QuickBooks:
I'm still ready to assist you if you have more inquiries about exporting your items list or sales management. Just hit the Reply button and I'll circle back to offer assistance.
Neither the Inventory Item QuickReport nor the Price List has any data about the discounts on it.
CWalters, you are right. Erika_K does not appear to understand the question. Since it has been years since I raised this issue, I'd have to say Intuit does not understand the problem either, or care to resolve it. Clearly, somewhere is the Quickbooks database, data related to quantity price breaks is saved. The problem is that none of the standard reports seem to be able to include that data. Neither are 3rd party apps like QODBC, which suggests that the data related to advanced pricing isn't exposed through the Quickbooks SDK. At my company we have around 30,000 items, from numerous vendors. Hundreds of items have quantity price breaks defined. When we need to update prices we import an Excel sheet with the new prices. There does not appear to be a way to update quantity pricing in bulk. That is a serious problem in itself. Much worse is that we can't even get a list of WHICH items are set up with quantity pricing. A person would have to manually open every single item to see if there are quantity breaks. We've resorted to using a custom field to flag if items have quantity pricing set up. It should not have to be like this. If we're missing a way to simply get a list of items with quantity breaks, we'd LOVE to know about it. Intuit charges extra for advanced pricing. They could make it much easier to use.
Lunacy. lol. Then again, I've submitted no less that 20 feedback reports about 2 major typo/errors on Enterprise's basic customer screen and in generating an invoice and they just won't correct them - mind-boggling.
It will surely save time to include the specific discount data you need in one report, CWalters. That would be a great addition to the current features, so you'll want to send a proposal to our developers.
Quantity discounts and advanced pricing are critical information for managing your inventory efficiently and ensuring accurate pricing strategies. Since these are unavailable in the Inventory Item QuickReport or the Price List report, I recommend submitting a request for this functionality to our developers. We value your ideas to ensure you get to work conveniently.
Follow the steps below:
