Buy nowCan you set up Quickbooks Desktop to alert you that a customer has a credit memo to use when you create an invoice for them.
For example I have a customer who had an item warrantied and wants to keep the credit on his account until he is ready to get the replacement part. I want Quickbooks to tell me he has an available credit when I create his invoice for his next purchase.
No, QuickBooks won't do that.
Hi @broncobuster,
Thank you for posting here in the Community about the feature you need for the customer credits. I'm here to provide some clarification regarding the automation in QuickBooks Desktop.

As we assess this, I recommend sending your feedback directly to our product engineers. We continue to improve the features, and this option might be available in the future.
Here's how to submit feedback:
Also, I've attached an article on how to turn on automated payment reminders for invoices and statements in the future: Create automated payment reminders for invoices and statements.
Please don't hesitate to drop a comment if you have additional questions about managing customer credits or using automation for transactions in QuickBooks. I'm always around to help. Take care.
@AlcaeusF RE: The ability to set an alert about the available customer credits is unavailable.
There's an ability to do this that Intuit made unavailable? Why did Intuit do that?
