I've signed in this morning to see a notification of ANOTHER price increase for Quickbooks Online? Now at a per employee level?
I'm sorry, but this has now triggered our move across to a more competitive and innovative platform. And given us plenty of time to plan for a smooth transition at end of financial year. We're constantly hindered by little bugs, slow interface and "upgrades" that remove functionality or make the workflow slower and less productive. Couple this with continuous price increases for little to no improvement, we have been left with no choice.
I'm not sure if other people will agree, or if I'm a lone whinger (I suspect I won't be the only one) - however, I had to express my frustration so that someone at Quickbooks will read it and understand they're driving small businesses away from the platform.
We're continually working on improvements and new features, jordan441.

You may keep using QBO and use another 3rd party payroll app if required. Afaik, there is no price increase for QBO US version. Contact us in private should you consider another accounting system to migrate. There are many options in the market including the free one.
What a joke! My rate doubled to $50 in one stroke and it's still the same software I've been somplaining about for years but I'm locked in. I'd advise anyone to look elsewhere when starting a business.
You can switch to a 3rd party payroll app to integrate with your QBO account.
thanks, but I don't use payroll or need it since I'm a one man shop. I use QBO mostly for invoicing my customers and keeping track of their payments with some small A/P thrown in.
In your case I would recommend wave apps. Free and does that plus more.
