Hi, Quick books has just started requesting an authorization code every time we have to log in. How do I get rid of this option as this option is not currently active in my security settings (it is turned off)?
Hi there, @Danielle49.
Thanks for sharing the details of your concern. I've got the steps we can use to stop authorization code from coming back.
First, let's double and make sure that the two-step verification feature was already turned off.
If you're still getting the same result, this may be come from external factors, such as an ad blocker. You can get this verification
If you're sure you're signing in from a trusted device, you could be asked to to make sure your account isn't compromised.
In this case, either add the *.intuit.com domain to your ad blocker's allow list, or disable your ad blocker specifically for the *.intuit.com domain. To help you with process, you can reach out to your local IT support.

This authorization code is becoming a stressful step and very unnecessary.
I'm from the Philippines (PH) handling a US account and most of the time, the codes do not get sent to our phone number especially when it is urgent like adding bank details to process payroll and pay contractors.
Please make this step optional.
@user57 If you had actually taken the time to read any part of this post, you would see that it IS optional

@Just_meThanks for pointing it out. I had thought this thread was the compulsory authorization code for when you need to add/edit bank info, phone number, etc. to employees and contractors.
