Join nowI installed Quickbooks Pro 2017 on a different computer today and am having all kinds of problems. I did install QB updates and something about tools but I still have the following problems:
1) When I select in Batch Actions for Status:Rev and try to Add/Approve nothing happens. Only when I select Finish Later the QB program asks if I want to enter Auto Matched Transactions. Then only these transactions are added. The entries with Status: Rev. Revert back to blank for payee and and account.
2) Bank feed for Barclay wants me to update browser (it is updated) or if I log in onto Barclay on Internet Explorer and download the QB program locks up.
Thank you for your assistance
I appreciate you for performing the initial steps to help resolve your banking issue, @tlm2.
You're on the right track in clicking the Finish Later button so the transactions are added to your register. I'd suggest going to the Added/Approved section and manually selecting a Payee and an Account for each transaction. This ensures the missing information is added to the transactions. See the screenshot below for your reference.
For your second concern, here are the possible reasons the program locks up after logging in to Barclay on Internet Explorer and download the transactions:
To help fix this, I'd first recommend logging in to your bank's website outside QuickBooks Desktop. Then, check your Message Center or Notifications inbox for details that need your attention.
Once done, let's verify your Windows firewall and Internet security settings for the software. This restores the internet access between the firewall and the program.
Since your Internet Explorer is already updated, let's enable TLS 1.2 Security protocol from there. Let me guide you how.
Once done, download transactions from Barclay again. You'll have to back up your company file before performing this process through this article: Download Bank Feed Transactions.
If the same issue still persists, I'd suggest performing the second to sixth steps through this article: Troubleshoot Issues with Bank Feeds. This link provides you the possible reasons and solutions on how to resolve your bank feeds issues in the program.
It's a great idea to reconcile your account on a monthly basis to ensure it matches to your bank statement. This also helps you learn more about your business' net worth in real-time. For more information, check out this article: Reconcile Accounts.
I'll be right here to help if you need further assistance. Have a great day, @tlm2.
