I receive this error upon trying to open a Tax Form Worksheet with Excel in QB Enterprise 24.0 in a specific file. I've repaired the file with the File Doctor, ran a repair on QuickBooks, created a trusted location where macros are enabled for the file, and still nothing. Does anyone have a solution for this? I feel like I've pretty much tried everything at this point.

This is a known issue that Intuit has ignored for over three years. The issue is that the workbook that ships with QuickBooks 2022 - 2024 is for 32-bit QuickBooks, while QuickBooks 2022 - 2024 are 64-bit. If you have a payroll subscription and you get updates, the workbook is updated and then will work. But if you don't, it'll never work.
Since Intuit won't fix this, we published a free fix a year and a half ago: BRC Payroll Tax Form Worksheets – Fixed!
Great, thank you for this information. Out of curiosity may I ask what you did to convert that Excel template to allow it to be used with the 64-bit version of QuickBooks?
It's been awhile, so I'm not sure. I either got the updated one that works at the time, or if it wasn't available I pattern-matched the code from another template that worked at the time.
