I try to export the IIF file but somehow I can't save it to anywhere. Any clues ?

Let's make sure you login as the company admin and you're in a single user network to completely save and export an IIF file. Let me show you how.

I have to do all these step in the same computer the company file is stored in my case is the server.

You will only need to do the steps on the workstation or computer where you are trying to export the IIF file. When you save it, make sure that the location is within the server. Normally, the file path of QuickBooks follows where the company file is located.

Haha, just had this issue and finally figured it out. You need to remove the *.IIF from the name and just save it as the name you want. So annoying.
