Can you dismiss the set up steps?

When I go to my "sales overview" a panel at the top is for "SETUP" and shows 75% done. (screenshot attached) The only "step" not done is to sign up for intuit's instant deposit service. This service charges an additional fee and I don't need it or want it. My customers send me checks in the mail and I deposit them in the normal way.

I'd like to dismiss these steps so the panel goes away and I can see my actual information at the top of the screen rather than what is basically an ad.

Is there any way to get rid of this?

Can you dismiss the set up steps?

I appreciate you for the detailed information and screenshots you've shared, earms.

The option to hide the progress of your setup is not currently available in QuickBooks. The reminder is intended to help ensure that you can utilize all of the services offered by QuickBooks. If you would like to request this feature, I recommend that you provide direct feedback to our product engineers.

To send your request:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under the Profile column, select Feedback.
  3. Enter your feedback or suggestions.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Choose Feedback for the category.
  6. Click Send.

Thanks for that response. That's disappointing but not surprising. It's unfortunate that intuit considers enrolling in an additional paid service that I don't need as an integral part of "set up." FWIW, I have clicked through, read about the service etc. I did everything up until the point where I had to enter my banking information to continue but it still says "not started" and the set up steps remain at 75%. Oh well.
