Can you report a user who is selling fraudulently?

We take your data privacy and security seriously, @sales206

I've got the two options regarding your concern.

If you're referring to a QuickBooks Online (QBO) user who created a suspicious invoice, I'd suggest reviewing the Audit Log. It's the place where you can track their activities and transaction histories. You need to sign in as an admin before performing the steps below.

  1. Go to the Gear (⚙) icon at the upper right and select Audit Log under Tools
  2. Click Filter.
  3. Choose All Users from the User drop-down list.
  4. Set the Date
  5. Select Transactions under Events.
  6. Click Apply.
  7. Choose View under History to check the details.

The screenshot below shows you the second to sixth steps.

Once you've identified the specific user, I recommend deleting their access and the transaction they've made. This way, they won't have permission to manage your sales and customer areas in QBO. Then, recreate it with the correct details.

You can always go to the Manage Users page. From there, you can add users and edit the access rights from the existing ones.

If you're referring to an external user who is sending a suspicious transaction to you, yes, you can report this. I'd suggest going to the Intuit Online Security Center and scroll down to the Security Alerts box. If you don't find a similar one from there, select Report a Suspicious E-mail to file it.
