Canceling Intuit QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions Hosting Standard V16.0 & moving to own server question?

Hi,

My company pays a monthly subscription for Intuit QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions Hosting Standard V16.0, but we recently moved QuickBooks to our own separate server/computer and want to cancel. If we cancel, will we still have access to (and be able to use) QuickBooks through our own server/computer without the subscription?

Thanks,

smg76

Just to clarify your question first. Are you still using QB Desktop 2016 Enterprise?

Canceling Intuit QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions Hosting Standard V16.0 & moving to own server question?

Hi there, smg76.

Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community,  smg76. Let me provide information on how the Hosting provider works in QuickBooks Desktop. Then, to ensure you'll be routed to the right support team to discuss the cancel procedure.

Having Intuit Hosting Program, you can run your QuickBooks Desktop and store your data files on a service provider's servers. This authorizes you to use your QuickBooks securely, anywhere, and anytime. If you cancel this hosting subscription, you can still have access and be able to use QuickBooks Desktop through your server or computer.

Then, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Desktop Support Team. They have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment and help you in canceling the hosting provider. They'll also be able to provide details on what happened after you remove the subscription.

Lastly, you may refer to each article below that contains different details about the access limits and hosting your data in a multi-user mode:

I’ll be around if you have follow-up questions about the hosting program in QBDT. I’m always round-ready to back you up. Keep safe and stay well!
