Check Printing

My checks are printing off alignment every other check that is printed despite using print setup and print setup under payroll settings. I am just unsure of what I should do next.

Check Printing

I have the information you need to correct alignment when printing the check, MdillowI'll be pleased to guide you through the process.

Since you already set up your print settings, the next thing that we can do is install or update Adobe Reader and set it as your default PDF viewer. It's required when printing both Standard and Voucher checks in QuickBooks Online.

Here's how:

  1. Click on + New, then Print checks.
  2. Choose Print setup and No, continue setup.
  3. Select the latest version of the Reader link to be routed to Adobe's page and download the current version of Acrobat Reader.
  4. Once installed, set Adobe Reader as the default PDF viewer of your browser by clicking How? in QuickBooks.
  5. Get back to Quickbooks and  View preview and print sample, then select Print.
  6. Proceed to the on-screen instructions to complete the printing process to check the alignment from the sample.

However, you can refer to Step 4 in this article if the sample print is still off to configure your printer dialog box: Configure your print settings for printing checks in QuickBooks Online.

On the other hand, consider scanning these resources to help you deal with common issues when printing other data and paychecks:
