The Trial Balance exhibits the total of the debit and credit balances recorded in different accounts of the ledger. Removing the entries on the statement involves your debit and credit accounts. Thus, I recommend consulting your accountant first before performing this task to ensure the accuracy of your books.
In addition to @Fiat Lux - ASIA answer, let’s go to the Chart of Accounts and delete the journal entries from there. It only takes a few steps to perform this task.
Here’s how:
- In QuickBooks Online (QBO), head to the Accounting menu on the left panel and select Chart of Accounts.
- This will take you to a list of accounts added to the company.
- Look for the account you created the journal entry and then click the View register link to see all your transactions.
- From there, find the entry and it should show the word "Journal".
- Click on it to expand the view.
- Select Delete and choose Yes to confirm the deletion.
