Several of our clients are exploring a 3rd party inventory management app with B2B features to replace QB Commerce and integrate it with QBO. The plans are $67/month for 3 users and $125/month for 8 users. I believe this app is one of the cheapest options available in the market. They also offer data migration services from QB Commerce starting at $40.
What app are you referring to?
Send me a private message and we will introduce you to them directly.
I understand the sales channel integration will exist in QB Online Accounting, however, what is the solution for our inventory housed in Commerce?
Can we transition inventory to QB Online Accounting directly? Will we lose historical data like we did with TradeGecko??
The entire Commerce community of users is begging you to PLEASE provide CLEAR DIRECTION on if our inventory is safe, and how to transfer it to the accounting side.
The e-commerce accounting features inside of QB Online, what does that include? Is it the same as we have now - create Purchase Orders, inventory management? My concern is that someone who is inputting inventory info, receiving product when it arrives can also twirl around in QB Online and see private bank information. Is that the case?
Please list the e-commerce accounting features, thank you in advance.
I appreciate you for chiming in on this discussion.
I understand how crucial it is to keep your inventory details. Don't worry. I can guide you in exporting your information from QuickBooks Commerce and importing them to QuickBooks Online (QBO), so you won't lose all your data.
I recommend that you export your data to avoid disruption to your business. You can transfer them in bulk using the Data Exporter tool. The bulk export includes the following information:
To access the tool, please refer to these steps:
For more details, please read this helpful reference: Data Exporter Guide - QuickBooks Commerce Offering Discontinuation.
When you're done exporting, you can import them into your QBO account.
I'll also share these handy articles for an overview of how QuickBooks Commerce works with QBO:
You can always get back to us if you have additional questions about the Commerce discontinuation on August 31, 2023. I'll be glad to help you further. Stay safe, and wishing you continued success.
Hello @Fiat Lux - ASIA whats the app named?
Contact me in private for details.
What a huge disappointment, when the acquisition first happened we expected Intuit to take it to a whole new level given the resources at hand. Do they even realize how good the software is and how much potential it has? We have been trying to shop for software as good as Tradegecko in terms of UX/UI , Seamless Integration, and great reporting. But they are merely nonexistent.
Deciding to eventually kill the software is very irresponsible of intuit and Tradegecko alike. Someone should get fired for making lousy expensive decisions.
Anyhow, I could spend the whole day badmouthing the total experience, if anyone was able to find a reliable solution thats as good as tradegecko please do recommend it.
Thanks.
Hi there,
I am curious, did you check Erplain? There are less integrations than Tradegekco but it is pretty comparable in terms of UI and features: https://youtu.be/jDSF2RnTjJM
Cheers!
Hello @arnaud-gabaudan , yes, as a matter of fact I was on a call today with one of your team members, however, its missing some crucial functionalities which I have passed to your colleague.
Could you expand on the missing functionality please? I signed up for a trial and it looks very similar to TradeGecko (refuse to use the other name).
