When printing my 1099's, our company phone number is appearing twice in the payer's address section of the form.  How can I correct this?

Aside from ensuring your phone number is entered appropriately in your company profile, your QuickBooks Desktop needs to be on the latest release for your 1099s to print correctly, @Lauren85.

When printing form 1099’s, you’ll want to update your QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release to prevent security issues and improve compatibility and program features. Be sure to select the Reset Update checkbox when performing.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Help menu and select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Click Update Now, then select the Reset Update checkbox.
  3. Select Get Updates after.
  4. Close and reopen QuickBooks to install the update.

If the issue persists, you may need to double-check your printer settings and run the QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair tool. Then, try to print your forms.

I’m adding this guide to learn what 1099 forms there are and how you can manage them: Get answers to your 1099 questions.
