I'd be happy to guide you to see the projects and categories on a bill through reports in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
To begin, you can use the Transaction list by Split report to show the category used in a bill. To show the only projects, you have to customize it by filtering the date, and the name of the projects.
Here's how:
- Go to the left navigation panel, and select Reports.
- Type Transaction list with splits and click it.
- Click the Customize beside the Save customization.
- Click the drop-down button under the Report period, and Filter the date.
- Select the Filter, and click the drop-down button of the Name section.
- Find the Name of the project that you want to run.
- Click Run report.
Additionally, you can reorder the columns by clicking the Gear Icon of the reports.
