Customer transaction workflows

I've been looking for a solution for sometime now and while we've managed I know there has to be a better way.

We have a contracting business and have QB premiere 2020 contractor edition. Our typical transaction workflow has been to estimate, issue a SO on being awarded the project, Take a deposit (for non account customers) then invoice upon delivery and or installation of goods. Been working fine for years.

We have recently began to dropship using sales channels AMZ, ebay and Etsy a on an increasing occasion direct call in sales of products my question is what is the most efficient way to migrate this through quickbooks.?

we still start with an estimate, (we do not have an ecommerce site ATM) so pricing needs to be communicated to the customer and from that point we can go to the SO step but theres no reason to because with online/call ins we invoice and take payment immediately, but now I need to send a packing slip to my drop shipper. Do i back track to the SO to make the packing slip, generate it off the invoice or should I be looking at enterprise?

couple other notes:

drop shipper pays for and sends us tracking to be forwarded to our customer

I'd prefer to just enter the transaction under a Generic/or group customer but tracking contact info for us has been an issue and recently realized that after taking payment with QB payments that the confirmation email goes to the email that's saved to that customer account

I’m here to share with you some insights about migrating/importing transactions to your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) software. If you’re trying to import your estimates to QBDT through MS Excel, the option to do so isn’t possible. As a way around, you can look for a third-party app that lets you convert the transaction as .IIF file.

This way, you’ll be able to import your estimate to QBDT. For more details about this, you can check out this article for reference: IIF Overview: import kit, sample files, and headers.

Once you’re ready, you can now follow these steps on how to import .IIF files to QBDT:

Go to the File menu, then select Utilities.
Click Import, then select Import IIF.
Select the IIF file you want to import, then select Open.
Click OK to confirm the import.

For the time being, you may utilize a tool to import Estimate or other transactions data into your QBD file.

Once you need to automate data from your marketplaces, you may need a connector.

You may also consider a dropship management app to integrate with your marketplaces.

Thanks for the input but i am not looking to import transactions from anywhere I will be entering them directly to QB

THank you, We are not importing transactions they will be entered directly into QB and I have considered some addons such as webgility or a drop ship management software, but its alot to take in thought I would ask the community for some input
