Hello,

I would like to know whether there is a way to tag multiple customers? I would like to send invoices/ statements to a select few of our customers but I don't want to have to go through all our customers just to send to a few.

For example, I have 1600 customers but I only want to send statements to 100 specific customers.

Yes you can send multiple invoices and/or statements in QuickBooks Online, @Teachmeyourways. I'd be glad to share with you some information about the process.

The option to create multiple invoices using the Batch Transactions feature is currently available in QuickBooks Online Advanced. If you're using the same version, follow these steps to so:

  1. Click the + New button.
  2. Select Batch Transactions
  3. Tick the Select Transaction type drop-down and choose Invoices
  4. To enter additional lines just hit the Menu button (three vertical dots) and then click on New line item
  5. Once done, select Save.

For future use, here's an article on how you can manage sales forms in QBO: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

On the other hand, you can send batch statements to your customer by navigating the Sales menu. I'll provide you the detailed steps:

  1. Open the Sales menu.
  2. Go to the Customers tab.
  3. Check the box next to the customer names that you need to generate a statement.
  4. Click on the Batch actions drop-down and hit Create Statements
  5. Choose the Statement Type in the drop-down and filter the Dates
  6. Click on Print or Preview for printing or Save and send to email the statements to your customers.

Thank you for your feedback I appreciate it, I still have a lot to learn from Quickbooks so you will be hearing from me regularly. I unfortunately do not have Quickbooks Online Advanced but I will keep this in mind for future reference.

Enjoy the rest of your week!
