Delete Quickbooks Invoice Attachment in email to customer

I hope you're having a successful week. You can attach files to your Invoices that can be emailed to your customers. This process only takes a few clicks:

1. Go to the Customer tab and choose Customer Center.
2. Open an Invoice you need to attach an Invoice to and click Attach File at the top.
3. Search for the file and Open it.
4. After the file uploads, press Done.

Now you have an Invoice with an attached file. You find this article helpful as well: QuickBooks document center.

I have done this.  My issue is that I do not want to send the Quickbooks invoice also and prior to upgrading to Quickbooks 2018 I was able to just delete the Quickbooks invoice pdf from the email and only send our custom invoice as the attachment. It will not delete.

QuickBooks Desktop currently offers two ways on sending your transactions either through a Web Mail or QuickBooks E-mail. 

The Web Mail option sends your invoices with a PDF file, while QuickBooks E-mail sends transactions on a plain text format. To know your preferences when sending forms in QuickBooks, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Edit menu.
2. Choose Preferences.
3. Select Send Forms.
4. Review your settings under My Preferences.

You can learn more about the Web Mail feature through this link: Connect your email to QuickBooks Desktop. Then, press F1 while QuickBooks is open and type in "Email invoices" to know more about QuickBooks E-mail.
