If you are using QuickBooks Desktop, you may purchase addtional service to access your file by internet.
Hi there, legends1.
Welcome to the Community. I'd be glad to provide some information regarding your question about Desktop Premier syncing with QuickBooks Online.
At this the Desktop and Online products don't sync with one another. This is due to the two being separate entities with somewhat different workflows, features, functions, and options. However, if you decided to use Premier rather than Online, you could import your QBO data to the Desktop system. This would imply using one or the other, but not both versions simultaneously.
I recommend reviewing this article that explains how to convert from one adaptation of QuickBooks to another: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/import-or-export-data-files/export-data-file-from-....
Please feel free to reach out to me if you have questions about this process of anything else. Take care.
I recommend Splashtop as my remote desktop of choice. For paid version it is less than $10 per user and each user can access up to ten computers. A single user can get away with $5/month billed annually and can access 2 computers

Is Splashtop platform similar to Teamviewer? We may take over the remote computer by Teamviewer and it allows only 1 user to run QuickBooks.
I read Splashtop allows up to 2 users access by remote to run QuickBooks. I don't see any other reference we could run QuickBooks for more than 2 users in the same time.
Up to now, we only recommend our client purchasing a service from a UK-based company. Their price is $25/month/user. There is no limitation for user access as long as we purchase the subscription and the specification of remote computer could handle all users in the same time. Their platform is user friendly but we are still looking other simalar solution with lower cost.
I have tried to export QuickBooks desktop to online company file, instead of putting the data into the existing online company it created a new file that now needs a subscription. How do I resolve this
I'll be glad to help you, @Alfed.
The login credentials must be the same for your online account, so it won't create a new subscription.
Also, please make sure to select Sign in instead of creating a new account.
You can check out this article as your guide on how to convert a desktop file to online:Move your QuickBooks Desktop file to QuickBooks Online.
I’ll be around to help if you need anything else.
How do you buy this tool?

Thanks for touching base with us again, @Markrossi13.
The tools mentioned by other users are third-party tools. I recommend checking out our QuickBooks Desktop Apps Marketplace to see if you can find the specific tool they're referring to, as the name wasn't mentioned in their post.

You may access your data file of QB Desktop by using internet access. One of the solutions are the remote desktop app.

Should you have more than one mobile user to access the data file by using internet connection, consider deploying a private cloud solution.
