Hello - is there any way to view the previous versions of an estimate that has been edited. It looks like QB saves the most current estimate - but I cannot see where we can go back and view an previous version.
thanks
Hello @FC-Install,
QuickBooks has a report called the Audit Trail report that you can use to view any additions, deletions, or modifications of the transaction. Let me guide you how to pull up the report.
The Audit Trail report is sorted by the user who created or last modified the transaction, the transaction type, and the date the transaction was created or last modified.
On the other hand, when you edit the estimate make sure to select Add Change Order. This way, you'll be able to track the changes in the estimate. I've added some screenshots for you so you'll have an idea of how it looks like.
I'm also attaching this handy article for your reference: Accounts Receivable workflows in QuickBooks Desktop.
Thanks for reaching out to us today. Please know that I'll be around if you need help with anything else. Have a great day ahead.
