Editing products and services

Every since yesterday afternoon I have not been able to edit any products or services. I noticed that the option to chose taxable /non-taxable is also gone. PLEASE DO NOT TELL ME TO SEND FEED BACK!!! I have cleared cache and cookies and restarted my computer and nothing is working. Please just fix the problem along with all the other issues that the new invoicing has created.

I actually made a post about this here . I talked on the phone with support and found out that it is now tied to the option "I sell this product/service to my customers." If this is checked, the item is set to taxable, otherwise it is set to untaxable. You may need to tick/untick the box and click save to get it to stick, I had to for existing services.

I have my product set that "I sell this product/service to my customers." and IT IS NOT showing that it is taxable. AND I still cannot make changes.

Every time I have had a problem I get told to give feedback and to contact help, which I have always done BUT I never get an answer to my problem.  The last time I contacted the help I was on the chat for over 2 hours with someone looking at my computer going back and forth between the same screens and my issue was never resolved. I finally ended the conversation and I spent hours of my own time trying to figure out a work around. My next questions is if YOU KNOW there is an issue WHY NOT just put it back the way it was or fix it so that not everyone has to contact help.

I did talk to support - I found out that it is now tied to the option "I sell this product/service to my customers." If this is checked, the item is set to taxable, otherwise it is set to untaxable. This works, and makes sense. What doesn't make sense is that you took away the ability to set the TAX CLASSIFICATION - the tax classification is very important on services because, for example, SAAS is taxed differently in some places. I believe it is a bug that you have removed the ability to set the tax classification. This is what the box looked like:

When I look at my product/service list there is nothing in the taxable column anymore. It used to show a check mark it if was taxable and was empty if non taxable and now everything is blank so I am definitely going to have to check my multiple page invoices very carefully to make sure everything is getting taxed correctly.  Very discouraging service for the amount we pay for QuickBooks every month, not sure who is making the changes but is sure making it harder to do my invoices.
