Emailing statements using QB Desktop Pro 2018

I can no longer email my monthly statements using QB Desktop Pro 2018.

I have a gmail email account, I've been using fire fox as a browser. 

Up until the end of July 2022 I had no issues, As of August 2022 I can no longer email statements. I've tried moving to chrome - no success. I know 2018 no longer supported, I know Gmail no longer supports "less secure apps" 

Any suggestions ? I really do not want to "upgrade" and pay for QB online as 2018 does (did) more than enough for my business needs.

RE: I know 2018 no longer supported,

 

I think that may be the key. Generally all connected things stop working when Intuit "sunsets" a QB version, which has happened for 2018.

Consider to install the trial version for QBD 2019 to isolate the issue. If you're having the same problem, it means they recently "disabled" the feature in all outdated versions. You can still purchase the one time license for QBD 2021 if required.
